HEAT RECOVERY VENTILATION

As an extremely cost-effective and efficient air conditioning system, it pays for itself in a short period of time. Our high-quality HRV units have an industry reputation for outstanding performance and efficiency, with many key benefits.

The HRVs recycle energy from the building’s exhaust air. This pre-treats the outside air and ventilation air to reduce the load that’s being handled by the HVAC unit, thus reducing the mechanical equipment’s required capacity.

Over a period of time, the reduction in capacity of the HVAC equipment will help to offset the HRV’s initial cost. This is a massive advantage in terms of cost-effectiveness, as the resulting energy saving will cover the outlay of the initial expenditure within a relatively short period of time. The payback period can be anything from three months to three years for the majority of systems. How long it takes it will depend on the system’s total size and the geographic location of the building.

HRV System

Once the initial investment has been recovered, the HRV units will continue to provide a positive cash flow over the lifetime of the system. As this is usually more than 20 years, this is a major benefit for using this type of system.

The units ensure the fresh air introduced into each room remains pure and dustless, as a result of the internal air filter. Manufactured from materials with high antibacterial and anti-mildew properties, this ensures the heat exchange core is instrumental in providing a healthy environment. In addition, the HRV’s unique by-pass mode reduces the fan motor’s power consumption, thus prolonging the lifespan of the heat exchanger core. Maintenance and cleaning being very easy simple.
